I hope you enjoy my humble website. It has been constructed to enable a simple, easy to use interface. The images can be enlarged by clicking on the previews. After many years as an advertising AD, illustrator and graphic designer, I have now shifted focus onto three areas of arts practice. :

The majority of my paintings are are oil on canvas. The work is inspired by a commitment to the preservation of environment, nature and concerns about speciesism.

Murals form an important part of my work. From my base in the sub-tropical hinterland near Byron Bay, Australia, I have successfully completed many projects in Australia, Singapore, China and Ukraine. These works include commercial, domestic and public wall murals, rainforest and jungle murals, wallpaper murals, dioramas, backgrounds, landscapes and trompe l'oeil painting.

Information technology has had a huge impact on the world of the illustrator, but there is still a place for traditional illustration using tactile materials such as gouache, watercolour, air brush, ink, graphite and paper. I have embraced the new technology but I don’t think it can ever replace the wonders of natural mediums and fibres.

News

Recently completed four murals under the Cahill Expressway in Harrington Street, The Rocks, for the Sydney Harbour Foreshore Authority. Historic images were reproduced in black and white, posterised form. The project took 9 weeks to complete.
